Kate had been on my radar for "stunning foals" when Jo Lynn first posted a picture of her as a 3 month old. So when she went up for sale in the late winter of 2016, I couldn't pass up this amazing opportunity to add her to our program! She arrived at our farm on April 23. And she is just amazing outside AND in!
Even though her name "Kate" is in honor of Dutchess Kate Middleton, her registered name "Kiss Me Kate" is very appropriate. She's always offering us kisses on the cheek or the hand! A real sweetie, just like her sire, Old Peat! She's always the first to whinny "Good morning" in the barn, and the first to check us out whenever we come to the gate. She is such a ham- always wanting attention from everyone and demanding that every person must scratch her back! We are so lucky to have her and we're never letting this one go! And we look forward to the foals she and Kili will produce in the future.
